Business Hours and State Holidays

The Board of Registered Nursing is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm daily with the following exceptions:

  • The Board office will be closed in observance of the following 2013 state holidays:

    • Tuesday, January 1 - New Year's Day
    • Monday, January 21 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
    • Monday, February 18 - President's Day
    • Monday, April 1 - Cesar Chavez Day (observed)
    • Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day
    • Thursday, July 4 - Independence Day
    • Monday, September 2 - Labor Day
    • Monday, November 11 - Veteran's Day
    • Thursday, November 28 - Thanksgiving Day
    • Friday, November 29 - Day after Thanksgiving
    • Wednesday, December 25 - Christmas Day
  • The Board's public counter does NOT accept walk-through temporary license applications after 4:30pm daily.
